Broadway Chorus
Broadway Chorus is always looking for new, enthusiastic singers! Prior musical experience is not necessary, and no auditions required. If you enjoy singing, especially the music of Broadway, then you will be warmly welcomed. You will also find that your singing will improve with regular practice. Age is no issue. Members' ages range from teens to well into retirement years.
You are expected to attend rehearsals, learn the music and work to improve your vocal technique. We have many tools to help you. We are fortunate to have our accompanist, Daniel Lockert, play each part (Soprano - Alto - Tenor - Bass) of every song, record and publish each MPEG file on the Internet, making practicing at home easy and available to all. Practice starts Sunday, January 22nd
Performances scheduled for March 30th, March 31st and April 1st
Rehearsal Dates and Times: (Adults 6:30-8:30pm, unless otherwise noted)
- Sunday 1/22 - 6:30pm start
- Sunday 1/28 - no rehearsal BUT sign ups will continue at 6:30pm
- Sunday 2/5 - 6:30pm start
- Sunday 2/12 - 6:30pm start
- Monday 2/27 - 7:00pm start
- Monday 3/5 - 7:00pm start
- Saturday 3/10 - potluck and all day rehearsal - time TBD
- Monday 3/12 - 7:00pm start
- Monday 3/19 - 7:00pm start
- Tech week 3/26 - times TBD
We regularly practice every Sunday evening starting at 6:30PM at the Ridgeview Dining Commons, 5200 Case Ave., Pleasanton, CA. The room is directly across Case Ave. from Pleasanton Middle School.
We would love to have you join us and join in the fun. Bring your voice, your love of good music, wear casual clothes and just show up!
Chorus fees: $60 registration (to Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre), $25 for copies of the music and for Broadway Chorus activities.
